    The official language is Khmer, but French and English are also widely used.

    The currency is the riel, but the US dollar is also accepted in some places.

    The cuisine in Cambodia is varied and can include dishes such as Khmer Curry and Lok Lak.

    The people of Cambodia are mainly Buddhist, with many sects and temples throughout the country.

    The country is divided into four provinces - Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang and Sihanoukville.

    It is important to respect local customs and traditions, including modest dress and sense of decorum.

    The climate is tropical, with hot, humid summers and cool, dry winters.

    Visitors require a valid passport and a visa in order to enter the country.

    Electricity is mainly 220 Volts AC, 50Hz but some areas still use 110 volts AC, 60Hz.

What is ASEAN ?

          ASEAN is an association of countries in southeast Asia it is made up of ten countries including Cambodia. They are Thailand. Malaysia, Indonesia.
